| BSWA Annual One Day Seminar December 4th 2008 |
The BSWA welcomed the month of December with the celebration of the 3rd annual event, held on December 4th, 2008 at Melia Benoa, Bali.
The event was a one day seminar with the theme of "Nurture, Knowledge & Network III", presenting experienced speakers who come from all different walks of life, interests and passion, to share their visions to broaden our knowledge. The Speakers included Michael Burchett, the GM at Conrad Bali, Ignip of Jari Menari, Amanda Pummer with the Green Asia Group, Mary Darling ~ Spa Consultant, Jeni Widiyah ~ Pregnancy Massage, Fabrice Garrigues, Managing Director of Pt Perindo Karya and a representative from Pacific Institute of Beauty (PIBI).
The Seminar was open to all professionals in the Spa and Wellness community, hoteliers as well as Travel Industry. The program started at 9 am with updates on the APSWC, BSWA, EU ASIA Invest, and Congratulations to all those nominated and winners of the recent Spa Asia and Asia Spa awards, inc Spa Capital of Asia. Along with a full day of talks, entertainment, and Lucky Draw prizes by numerous local sponsors, a half day seminar for local Therapist also occurred. The attendance for sessions exceeded 100 people which indicate a large demand in the local community for Knowledge, Nurturing, and Networking. |
