The Restaurant, The Legian Bali Seminyak from 10.30 am to 14.30 am. Lunch attended by 43 members and non-members, this month lunch it was a bit different, because normally after registration we will have spa tour but this time we moved the spa tour to the end of presentation before the lunch. The gathering was holding inside one their suite room whereby they converted it to small function room.
The gathering started by welcoming few words from Pak Yudi (The Human Resources Manager) on behalf of The Legian Bali Resort Management. The presentation it started with Marcia C C De Menezes who she introduced her book FOD FOR LIFE whereby the benefits of the books will goes to poor community in Irian Jaya to provides the daily food supplies and school equipments for their children.
Then, gathering continues with The Debussy Thermodine presentation by Ms. Stephanie Dietenbeck whereby she explained about the new concept of slimming beauty and facial by using a unique non invasive method which is stimulate the main biological mechanism of our body.
The Debussy Thermodine is a Belgium company who established in 2007 in Belgium with commercial business in 11 countries, and first opening the Indonesia (Bali) in September 2009. Their motto is "Through a set of smooth and painless sessions according to a establish protocol, the technique of resculpt the body gives back the body shape and revitalizes the face".
Then the gathering follow with BSWA updates by Lulu who announcing and reminding about the upcoming BSWA events like next month BSWA afternoon event which is going to be hold in Maya Ubud on 30th October and also we will have a discussion to finalise about BSWA Standard Grievance and Procedure draft, Go Green Day together with BSWA gathering on 10th November, CIBTAC graduation whereby the CIBTACT test result through email and some of the student actually has achieved the highest scores in Asia Region (CIBTAC School scope), and the other event is one day seminar on 4th December (the final event this year). Also reminding about the membership fee payment amongst the members, only 65% who haven't submit the membership payment.
The last but not least is reminding the Spa members to give a feedback or input to Ministry of Tourism to finalized Spa Business standardization in Indonesia especially in Bali, the latest by November.
Before the luncheon ends, we have The Legian Spa tour led by Rahma (The Spa at The Legian) to all the members who attend the gathering, then we continue to lunch and networking till finished.
