ISPA membership information available on their website – if a member have access to a useful training tool – Supervisory Skill Builders which provides training and certification for spa managers | | 17. | Dr John Macgregor, of Guides International informed us of their recent initiative, the Bali Spa Guide, a web guide to all spas in Bali (www.balispaguide.com). Two listing categories are available: basic and extended. The site is already proving to be popular – contact Guides International for further information | | 18. | Pak Agung Raka from Bali Travel News and advocate for Green Global Organisation , outlined the principles of Tri Hita Karana (THK or the three sources of happiness) - a balance between human and human, humans and God and humans and the environment, ie a balance between the social, the spiritual and the environment. This philosophy has been adopted by Green Global as well as hotels, schools and local government as a means of ensuring environmental sustainability and development in Bali. This philosophy and the resultant criteria and checklist can also be applied to the spa and wellness industry and BSWA will work further with Pak Agung on this issue Email:
